PC-024 BLOWOUT AND CRATERING CLAUSE The terms “Blowout” shall be taken as the sudden expulsion of drilling fluid (mud, water, and sometimes oil) above the surface of the ground (above the earth’s surface) followed by a continuous uncontrolled flow of oil , gas or water from the well that occurs when the pressure of oil, gas or water entering the well at some depth below the surface is greater than the pressure exerted by the column of drilling fluid in the well and resulting in the well getting completely out of control. The Term “Crater” shall be defined as a basin like opening in the earth’s surface surrounding a well caused by the erosion and eruptive action of Gas and/or Oil and/or Water flowing without restriction. KLAUSUL BLOWOUT DAN CRATERING Istilah “Blowout” diartikan sebagai keluarnya cairan pengeboran (lumpur, air, dan terkadang minyak) secara tiba-tiba dari permukaan tanah (di atas permukaan bumi) yang diikuti oleh aliran minyak, gas, atau air yang terus-menerus dan tidak terkendali dari sumur yang terjadi ketika tekanan minyak, gas, atau air yang masuk ke dalam sumur pada kedalaman tertentu di bawah permukaan lebih besar daripada tekanan yang diberikan oleh kolom cairan pengeboran di dalam sumur dan mengakibatkan sumur menjadi benar-benar tidak terkendali. Istilah “Crater” didefinisikan sebagai cekungan seperti lubang di permukaan bumi yang mengelilingi sumur yang disebabkan oleh erosi dan letusan Gas dan/atau Minyak dan/atau Air yang mengalir tanpa hambatan.
