HULL INSPECTION GUIDANCE

A.            DOCUMENT INSPECTION

 

A.1.   DOKUMEN FISIK DAN ADMINISTRASI

 

Periksalah semua dokumen-dokumen yang berhubungan dengan spesifikasi, kelas, mesin, rute, dan keselamatan kapal.

 

Secara umum perhatikanlah badan yang memeriksa dan mengeluarkan sertifikat, tanggal diterbitkan dan masa berlakunya sertifikat :

 

1.             SERTIFIKAT KLASIFIKASI (Lambung /Hull dan Mesin / Machinery)

2.             SERTIFIKAT KESELAMATAN KAPAL

3.             SERTIFIKAT KESELAMATAN RADIO

4.             SERTIFIKAT LAIK LAUT (SEAWORTHINESS)

5.             SPECIFIKASI KAPAL/SHIP PARTICULAR

6.             SERTIFIKAT PEMBANGUNAN/BUILDER CERTIFICATE

7.             RUTE PELAYARAN/DAERAH PELAYARAN, perhatikan apakah kapal memiliki peta yang lengkap sesuai dengan daerah pelayarannya.

8.             SERTIFIKAT LAMBUNG TIMBUL/ SERTIFIKAT GARIS MUAT, perhatikan catatan tambahan oleh surveyor penerbit sertifikat yang terdapat pada halaman belakang sertifikat

9.             SERTIFIKAT PERMESINAN, perhatikan catatan tambahan oleh surveyor penerbit sertifikat yang terdapat pada halaman belakang sertifikat

10.          SURAT IJIN BERLAYAR

 A.2.   DOKUMEN MESIN, PIPA DAN LISTRIK

Untuk mesin-mesin dan kelistrikan, periksalah gambar diagram dan keadaan fisik yang berhubungan dengan mesin-mesin utama yang terdapat di kapal.

 

Perhatikan pembuat/manufacturer, tahun pembuatan dan kapasitas masing-masing mesin :

1.             BILGE AND BALLAST PIPING DIAGRAM (DIAGRAM PIPA BILGA DAN BALAS)

2.             INTERMEDIATE SHAFT  AND THRUST SHAFT, untuk kapal-kapal yang relatif panjang

3.             MACHINERY ARRANGEMENT, perhatikan ruang/jarak antar mesin

4.             MAIN BOILERS, SUPER HEATERS, ECONOMISERS AND STEAM PIPING

5.             MAIN ENGINES, PROPULSION GEARS AND CLUTCH SYSTEMS (Tanyakan keberadaan log book dan periksa rutinitas overhaul)

6.             PROPELLER (BALING BALING)

7.             WIRING DIAGRAM (untuk kelistrikan)

8.             STEERING GEAR SYSTEM (hasil pengujian dengan seorang berada di anjungan dan seorang lagi di dekat steering gear)

 

A.3.   DOKUMEN PERAWATAN/MAINTENANCE

Untuk mengetahui tingkat perawatan mesin-mesin kapal periksalah dokumen-dokumen yang berhubungan dengan perawatan harian, mingguan, bulanan, tahunan atau kegiatan perawatan berkala lainnya, periksalah Maintenance Log Book dengan cermat. Periksalah apakah maintenance schedule sesuai dengan rekomendasi pabrik pembuat mesin-mesin tersebut.

 

A.3.   DOKUMEN KESELAMATAN & PENANGGULANGAN KEBAKARAN Untuk peralatan penanggulangan kebakaran dan prosedur tanggap darurat, periksalah dokumen yang menyangkut peralatan keselamatan, prosedur dan organisasi keselamatan.

 

 

B.            PEMERIKSAAN FISIK

 

1.             LAMBUNG KAPAL

Pemeriksaan umum lambung kapal meliputi :

1.1.        Geladak cuaca, ambang palka, tutup palka : kebersihan, operational tutup palka

1.2.        Palka kecil, pintu kedap cuaca dan jendela cuaca : masih berfungsi dengan baik, periksa gasket/seal pintu

1.3.        Pipa udara, pipa duga, beserta alat penutupnya: kebersihan dan kelengkapan

1.4.        Ventilasi udara dan penutupnya : kebersihan dan masih berfungsi baik

1.5.        Ruang muat, ruang mesin : kebersihan dan kerapihan

1.6.        Pemeriksaan jangkar dan tali tambat

 

2.             MESIN DAN INSTALASI LISTRIK

2.1.        PEMERIKSAAN MESIN UTAMA: kebersihan, lokasi dari bahan berbahaya dan teknikal alarm

2.2.        PEMERIKSAAN MESIN BANTU

2.3.        PEMERIKSAAN GENERATOR, INSTALASI LISTRIK DAN KABEL LISTRIK: kebersihan, kerapihan

2.4.        KOMPRESSOR UDARA : Katup keamanan disetel pada tekanan berapa

2.5.        PEMERIKSAAN POMPA POMPA: kebersihan, kebocoran seal/gasket

2.6.        PEMERIKSAAN BOTOL ANGIN: Katup keamanan pada tekanan berapa

2.7.        PEMERIKSAAN KETEL UAP :Sistim keamanan manual dan darurat. Katup keamanan pada tekanan berapa

2.8.        PEMERIKSAAN GENERAL SERVICES PUMP

 

3.             ALAT PEMADAM KEBAKARAN

3.1.        Kontrol jarak jauh untuk penghentian kipas angin dan instalasi mesin sertai suplai bahan bakar di dalam kamar mesin.

3.2.        Sistem pemadam kebakaran dan deteksi asap beserta perlengkapannya.

3.3.        Pencatatan tanggal uji terakhir dari sistem pemadam kebakaran
