REPACKING COST CLAUSE (CARGO – NON STANDARD CLAUSES)


It is agreed that, in the event of the original shipping packages arriving at the final destination in a visibly damaged condition arising from a peril insured against, the costs of replacing such packages shall be for the account of Underwriters in those instances where it is an established custom of the Assured’s &/or consignee’s trade to deliver the goods to the final customer’s premises in the original shipping packages.
